Can all STIs be cured?
Only some Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) can be cured. There are other STIs and blood-borne viruses, that can't be cured, but they can be treated and managed effectively.
To reduce your risk it's important to use condoms, and water-based lubricant.
It is important to remember that some STIs, like herpes and genital warts, can be passed on through skin-to-skin contact with someone who has that STI. If you have had unprotected sex (sex without a condom) make sure you have an STI test.
