Who is responsible for contraception?
It is BOTH partners' responsibility to ensure that you have safer sex, and use contraception to prevent both unintended pregnancy and sexually transmissible infections (STIs).
While it is true that one partner can take oral contraceptive pills to avoid unintended pregnancy, condoms are the only form of contraception that prevents both STIs and unintended pregnancy if used correctly. Which is both partners responsibility.
Use water-based lubricant when you use a condom because this will help stop the condom from breaking.
